Norway Tour, Coming To An End.
It’s 3.43am and we need to be leaving for the airport at 5am. I don’t think I’m going to bother to go to bed. Whats the point!! Tonight I played the last gig of this current tour in Norway and it was fantastic. A small underground venue that was almost full for an unknown british guy!! Pretty pleased with that. Feel like I’m really starting to make ground, slowly but surely it’s all coming together! Support was from the wonderful Magne Neby Olsen, a local talent who had his fantastic band and very groovy songs. Everyone is extremely friendly in Norway and up for getting involved which is so very welcoming.
As for things once I’m back home. I think I have a couple of days decorating my room (useful information) and then a gig with the whole band at Queen Of Hoxton on Tuesday 22nd. It will be Showcase Lives 4th birthday and my first gig with this promoter so I’m really looking forward to this. Never played at that venue before. Then I have a few days in the studio working with kip, recording some acoustic sketches of the potential songs to go on my record. This is going to be mega. We’ll find out what songs really work and which ones might not make the grade. I think I’ve got some strong contenders in the pot!
